In 1954, SWS started its
welfare service to help
war orphans. Since then, SWS has strived to provide welfare services for the
marginalized population with a firm belief in human dignity and endless love for life.
With family protection at its core value, SWS
provides a full range of support for children in need, including temporary care service, child
nurturing service, medical
service, education service, scholarship support and others. Children that are unable
to be cared by their family for various reasons are supported so that they can be firmly protected by the society and enjoy
the rights they deserve.
In addition to supporting children, SWS makes the utmost effort to enhance the welfare of single
parents, people with
disabilities, the elderly and the community to improve the happiness and rights of the marginalized population.
Currently, SWS manages the main office, 5 branch offices, 20 facilities, and 1 affiliated hospital.
